GOV AKPABIO IS LIKE A FATHER TO MY WIFE---2Face Idibia

The superlative wedding of Tuface and Annie might have come and gone, the impression left behind will forever lingers. One of which is the public outcry about the reason for the lavished gifts on the couple by Governor Akpabio. The man of the house, Tuface has responded critics and we believe it's a final answer to every question.

“I don't feel strangely for getting support for our wedding, I am just happy and that is the most important thing. My wife is from the Akwa Ibom State and the governor of the state is like a father to her.

The governor said he was doing all these because he loves his daughter and I don't think I should feel anyhow because a father is showering his daughter blessings. I don't believe anybody should feel anyhow, it is a celebration mood, so everybody should be happy,” 2Baba, as he's fondly called responded.

On their choice of Dubai for the white wedding, Tuface said it's more spiritual than physical. Before they left for Dubai, he explained that, “I think there is this spiritual connection to it, but I don't want to disclose it now.

Let's just say that we love Dubai and we also discovered that it was a perfect venue for us. Contrary to what people are saying that we chose Dubai because of the crowd, we thought of a perfect place for the white wedding and the idea of Dubai came up. I don't know about crowd control. We just want to have the best of the moment and make sure things go rightly.

There is nothing more to it. It does not have to do with controlling the people or anything. The fact is that you can't run away from the people. Anywhere you go, you will meet people and these people have come to celebrate with us.”

DAVIDO'S HKN ON FIRE…SHINA RAMBO MAY QUIT SOON

If scoop reaching us is anything to go by, Omo Baba Olowo, David Adeleke a.k.a. Davido may not be finding it easy with his HKN group that we learnt are not too pleased with him for his overriding.

B-Red and Sina Rambo are said to be ready to stool for war if Davido fails to do anything with the situation of him being trying to outshine them.

We gathered that Davido's cousins and label mates- Sina Rambo and B-Red had a nasty fight with their more popular cousin in Atlanta. According to the story, the reason for the family feud stemmed from Sina Rambo and B-Red believing that Davido was doing little to promote their works and was intentionally releasing singles and music videos to overshadow their singles.

“Sources tell us a big fight allegedly ensued between Davido and cousins B Red and Sina Rambo some weeks back in Atlanta – The cousins had accused Davido of not doing much for their careers as much as he should after they chose him as the label's front line act. They also accused him of not giving them a chance to fully promote their new singles only to overshadow them at any given chance.”

in view of this, B-Red and Sina Rambo who are the sons of Davido's father's senior brother have threatened to quit the group if something is not done urgently by Davido.

Davido Signs New Artiste

Davido's record label, HKN Gang, has signed a new artiste onto it. The artiste is named Danagod.

Danagod recently returned from the United States of America where he has been working on his debut album. He will soon be officially unveiled as an artiste of HKN Gang.

Danagod has shot a video for one of his songs 'Bobo Ti Bobo' in the US and Nigeria. He has been in the music industry for some time now but has not had the big break. Danagod featured alongside Igho and Orezi in DJ Debby's track 'Emoti'.

Some believe he can break into Nigeria's mainstream music industry just like other A-listers.

PR Guru and activist, Theodora Ibekwe is proud to announce the end of principal photography on her first ever film production; Shameful Deceit. Shameful Deceit is a socially conscious tale that explores the pressure of dealing with society's judgmental views on controversial, yet extremely personal circumstances within a marriage. Directed by Ruke Amata (Amata Dynasty, The Past Came Calling), Shameful Deceit has an all-star cast, including Nollywood veteran Lanre Balogun (What women want), Moji Bamtefa (Meet the Adebanjos), Fatima Jabbe (Mirror Boy) alongside the producer herself, Theodora Ibekwe.
